What is clinical nutrition?

Clinical nutrition is the practice of analyzing if a person is consuming an adequate amount of nutrients for optimal health. As a board certified clinical nutritionist, I pay close attention to how nutrients in food are processed, stored and discarded by your child’s body, along with how what your child eats affects their overall well-being. Additionally, I assess nutritional needs based on your child’s family and medical history, lifestyle, and laboratory tests in order to make personalized recommendations on your child’s diet and individual nutritional needs.

By combining functional & integrative medicine with clinical nutrition, I take a 360 degree look at the whole child and can get a clear picture of what areas of wellness need to be improved for optimal brain health and wellbeing.

There is not a ‘one size fits all’ solution to your child’s health and I work with families to create personalized care plans that meet your child’s individual needs! Let’s chat to see how we can incorporate a holistic approach to your child’s health!
